O&O DiskImage lets you back up an entire computer or single files whenever you want - even while the computer is being used. In the event you should lose your personal data it can be quickly restored with just a few mouse clicks - even when Windows is no longer able to start. It also supports SSD drives and the latest UEFI System.

O&O DiskImage lets you carry out a system restore and to duplicate or clone an entire PC or hard drive. You can even restore this backup onto a computer whose hardware is different from the original machine, for instance, where you have changed a motherboard on the target machine or have bought a brand new PC and want to restore an old backup onto it.

A regular backup is still something that many users prefer to avoid. At least that is until they suffer their first loss of important files as a result of software, hardware or user error: that's when it becomes crystal clear just how valuable a reliable and up-to-date backup really is!

New in O&O DiskImage 18: Comprehensive VHD / VHDX functionality
With the new version 18 it's possible to convert image files made with O&O DiskImage into Microsoft Virtual Hard Disc (VHDX as well as VHD) image files. This can be especially useful if someone wants to first "rehearse" migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 because it can be done using a virtual machine created on the current system.

The new O&O DiskImage 18 can also create incremental and differential images of virtual drives. Combining or mounting these images is also possible. Whenever there's a backup available, it only takes a few seconds to access any files that are needed. Work on the computer can then be continued without any loss of time or important data.

O&O DiskImage 18 with its own recovery partition
Normally with a backup or imaging program you need to create a boot medium (USB) to boot up your system if something goes awry. This you have to either carry around or store somewhere safe in case disaster strikes.

Thanks to the integration into the system, the O&O DiskImage RecoveryPartition can be accessed immediately so that the last system image can be restored directly. If the Windows operating system does not start or if faulty drivers have to be uninstalled - with the integrated recovery environment, all O&O tools are available to make the system operational again as easily as possible. Not only is this much more comfortable and quicker for the user, it also provides them with an extra level of security as this medium cannot get lost or damaged as easily as a "portable", external one.

O&O DiskImage To Go
Previously, in addition to regularly backing up your machine, you also had to separately create an O&O DiskImage boot media to restore that backup. Everything is easier now! The new O&O DiskImage To Go function automatically turns an external hard drive (or USB flash drive with enough storage space) into an O&O DiskImage boot medium and marks this disk as the preferred storage medium for future system backups. As soon as you then connect this external USB hard disk to your computer, O&O DiskImage 18 automatically creates a backup. This makes it easy to create a recent backup. And if something really happens to your computer or you want to transfer your system and all your data to a new computer, then with the O&O DiskImage boot medium you can restore the backup stored on it with just one touch of a button. Without the hassle of searching for the boot medium and the external hard drive with the backup.

Specialized ArtSet for Pixel Art
TwistedBrush has always been known for its powerful and vast collection of brushes. The same is true for Pixel Studio. The program includes a collection of brushes designed just for pixel art.

Brush Variety
Choices are important in pixel art as in any art. Here are a few pixel drawing brushes

1. Pure pixel brush. Solid pixels are panted everywhere the cursor goes. This is a dab placement brush. Rather than drawing a line, a square or circle are drawn.
2. Anti-alias pure pixel. Same as previous but the pixels edges are smoothed.
3. Pixel brush that draws as a connected line. This is a straight line brush, solid and anti-aliased.

A remembered powerful brush in Pixel Studio is the auto mask fill brush. Draw pixels within an enclosed area without worrying about going outside of the lines. Even change colors and your area is remembered because a mask is magically created for you behind the scenes.

Quick Access Panels
The Color Management panel and the Brush Shortcut Panel are two panels you will use a lot. All the panels in Pixel Studio will automatically hide if they get in your way while painting. Manually hiding all panels is also possible with the F3 hotkey.

Quick Command Panel
The Quick Command panel gives you a configurable array of buttons you can keep close at hand while working. Resize and reshape the panel to your needs. Add, remove and move buttons to create the layout that works best for you. Quickly show or hide the panel with the[F4] hotkey. Right click to edit a button or add one to an empty slot.[Ctrl] + click to drag a button to a new location. As an added bonus there is some functionality exposed in the Quick Command panel that isn't available anywhere else in Pixel Studio.

Powerful Brush Effects System
Since User ArtSets are available you might be thinking where will you get new brushes from. There are a number of ways, user shared brushes in the Pixarra forum, brushes imported from Pro Studio, OR now you can edit brushes right in Luminance Studio with the powerful Brush Effects system from Pro Studio. First an IMPORTANT NOTE: Editing brushes is NOT an easy task. There are over 500 different effects that can be combined in 28 effect layers with each effect processed with 100's of modifiers. I think it's safe to say the Pixarra brush effects system makes for the most powerful brush engine in existence. Evidenced in the ability to draw simple lines or fully detailed tree with the same engine with a single stroke as can be seen in Tree Studio.

One of the common ways to use the Brush Effects panel is to tweak existing brushes in small ways to meet your needs and you can do this right in Pixel Studio and save them to the User ArtSets.

Easy access support for layers are in Pixel Studio. The idea is to keep your work flow simple and fast. A simple single click to create a layer with no scrolling. Right click a layer for additional options. Drag layers to rearrange them.

Proteus Professional is a software package for computer-aided design of electronic circuits. The package is a circuit modeling system based on models of electronic components adopted in PSpice.

A distinctive feature of the Proteus Professional package is the ability to simulate the operation of programmable devices: microcontrollers, microprocessors, DSPs, etc. Additionally, the Proteus Professional package includes a PCB design system. Proteus Professional can simulate the operation of the following microcontrollers: 8051, ARM7, ARM Cortex-M3, AVR, Texas Instruments, Motorola, PIC, Basic Stamp. The Content Center contains reference data.
Proteus 8 consists of 6 main modules
- Application Framework. Now Proteus 8 consists of one application with a large number of modules (ISIS, BOM, ARES, 3D Viewer, etc.). Modules can be opened in tabs within an application window, you can drag and drop and create additional windows, and you can view multiple tabs at once. This allows you to work not only with ISIS and ARES, as was the case in previous versions, but also with other modules, such as ISIS and VSM Studio for debugging, ISIS and specification for reporting, ARES and 3D Viewer for verification.
- Common Parts Database. A single component database allows data exchange between Proteus modules in the current project. Gates represent physical components on a printed circuit board and at the same time represent logical elements on a circuit.
- Live Netlisting. A live netlist available to all modules allows changes to be reflected in real time. Changes to the circuit lead to changes to the PCB and in turn to changes to the specification.
- 3D Viewer. For 3D viewing, in addition to OpenGL, DirectX graphics are supported, and multithreading has been added to increase rendering speed. A live netlist is also used, so changes made in ARES are displayed in the 3D Viewer.
- Bill of Materials. A completely new module for working with project documentation. Ability to save specifications in popular PDF, HTML and Excel formats.
- VSM Studio. Built-in development environment that allows you to simulate and debug your project in Proteus VSM, as well as automatically configure the compiler for specific firmware.

Starting with version 2.0 Registry Finder is not just a finder. It is a simple registry editor. It has basic facilities of the system RegEdit that is enough in most simple use-cases. Registry Finder allows you to browse the local registry; create, delete, rename keys and values; modify values as its natural data type (string, multistring, DWORD) or as a binary data. It is allowed to open multiple Registry windows. Next time you start Registry Finder, those windows will be reopened on the same keys as before.

The Find operation is efficient and quick. All found items are displayed in a separate window as a list. Each line represents a single match with the search criteria. The icon shows where the match occurred: key name, value name or value data. Matched text is highlighted with red.
You can jump to any found item in the Registry window or edit/delete items right in the Find Results window.
Items in the Find Results window can be saved to file in comma separated values (CSV) or reg file format.

With the Replace feature you can easily replace all or particular occurrences of one string with another. The replacement is performed only in items that are in the Find Results window. In the Replace dialog you specify either all items or just selected ones. After replacement is done, items in the window are updated. If some item do not match the search criteria any more it still remains in the list.

All operations that alter the registry including deletion and replacement can be undone and redone. The operations are listed in the History window. To open it, click View|History in the main menu. The last performed operation is marked with a yellow arrow.
