Beginner Japanese Informal (Colloquial) Speech
Published 4/2023

Language: English | Size: 1.08 GB | Duration: 3h 20m

Learn how to speak "informal" Japanese and bring your Japanese to the next level!

What you'll learn
You will be able to understand what Japanese "informal speech" is.
You will review "formal" speech".
You will be able to recognize the difference between "informal" speech "formal" speech.
You will learn the conjugation of basic verbs and adjectives and practice them.
You will be able to speak in both "formal" and "informal" Japanese.
You will learn a lot of useful INFORMAL fillers and chunks.

Requirements
Basic knowledge of Japanese might help, but if you can't read basic Japanese characters that is fine because there are FURIGANA on every word.
You are interested in learning casual (informal) speech. Be careful, this course is not for a job interview!

Description
This is the beginner-level "informal speech" course. I put "romaji" to all the Japanese kana (letters), so if you are not 100% sure about your hiragana reading skills, do not worry. There are lectures of a basic informal speech guidance, and a lot of practice sessions of verb and adjective conjugation, and the lectures of useful chunks and fillers, some of them might not be taught in traditional language classes. *Why informal speech? There are basically two different modes of speaking in Japanese language. "Informal" = "colloquial"or "casual" , Japanese and "formal" = "polite" Japanese. English also has them, right? Imagine when you talk to your boss, your mode of speech is not the same as when you talk to your close friends, is it? There is a multiple layers of "politeness" in Japanese. If you are a native Japanese and do not know how to speak both of them, you will be in trouble because people might judge you as "rude" or "uneducated", however, most of the time, non-native learners are supposed to learn the "formal" form of speaking Japanese, in other words, "polite" Japanese. But, let's say when you are walking around Tokyo and hear what people are saying, or when you watch anime, you realize that few of them speak "formal" and "polite" Japanese with their friends and family. The conversation between native speakers is hard to pick up because the speaking mode is quite different. Native Japanese can switch the mode immediately and unconsciously by reading the room, however, it is difficult for non-Japanese. The only way to acquire them is to learn and practice! In this course, you will learn how to speak Japanese casually. What you are actually going to do is, to learn the conjugation of verbs and adjectives, and practice them a lot. Some people do not like to study grammar, but it is very important to understand the grammar to learn a new language because you can't construct any sentences without any knowledge of grammar. You might be overwhelmed by the differences between "informal" and "formal" modes of speech, but gradually you will see "patterns". If you can understand "informal" Japanese speech, it could allow you to expand the horizon and have more access to the world of "authentic" Japanese language. Why not learn them?

Enroll now and get ready for the ride of a lifetime! What Is Graph?I am graph, I go to work on graph. It's everywhere, really. I have a sister. Both of us has same parents. Our mom has parents, which is our grandparents from mom's side. And so our dad, which means we have grandparents from dad's side. And together, this is he "myself" graph. Tweet something on twitter, and it's a graph. See: 8 people likes the tweet, and 3 people retweet my original tweet, so this is the graph. What Is QL?QL in GraphQL is shorthand for query language. If it seems familiar, you are right. SQL, or the structured query language, has the same shorthand. SQL used to read and manipulate data in database. During SQL read, we can select multiple columns as we need, from one table, or several connected tables, usually through foreign key. The same way with GraphQL. Like SQL, a single GraphQL query can return multiple columns from connected data. We can also use GraphQL to change or remove data.So What is GraphQL?GraphQL is a query language which uses graph concept. GraphQL is also a runtime that needs to be implemented on the backend, so the frontend application can use it as the query language.*To implement graphql, we need runtime frameworks, which each programming language has their own implementation. GraphQL itself is a specification, means whatever the framework, it must comply to the graphql specification, so the user can use GraphQL without even need to know what the GraphQL backend language is.GraphQL is a service, where we need two items for creating Graphql backend. First, is the schema, which represents GraphQL structure. It is like database tables and relationships. Second is the resolver, which is logic for each field on schema to represents data. A resolver tells how and where to access certain field. For example, whether to get field's data from database, or text file. Some says GraphQL is "REST*API*killer", "The next REST*API", et cetera. But what is GraphQL*and why facebook, netflix, github, and some large names shift their technology to GraphQL? Is it true that GraphQL*is "REST API*killer"? Or the contrary, it is "REST*API*friend"? In this course, we will learn the GraphQL fundamentals, including data types, schemas, and graphql operations. We will learn using Java Spring Boot and Netflix DGS*framework to easily build GraphQL*Java application. In this course, we will not only learn theories, but do a hands-on coding using PostgreSQL*as database.Complete source code is provided for the course, so you will always stay up-to-date and have reference in case you are having difficulty (believe me, GraphQL will not that hard). If you are new to GraphQL, or if you've been trying to find out how to implement your own GraphQL*server (especally using Java), but sometimes feel like you still don't quite understand, then this GraphQL course is absolutely suitable for you! In this course, we will learn:What is GraphQLGraphQL*schema, data types, and relationshipsCustom GraphQL*data typesCreating your own GraphQL*backend using Java Spring Boot and PostgreSQL*databaseWe will learn using Netflix GraphQL framework (Netflix DGS)Securing GraphQL*endpointand manymoreIf you ever writing REST*API*before, this course will expand your knowledge and see how easy you can implement GraphQL*fundamental. It's not very different with REST*API*implementation, but at some aspects, it's more powerful.Take the course and experience yourself!Spring Boot VersionThis course uses Spring Boot version 3.x. Most of the code will still works with Spring Boot version 2.x, but for best learning experience, it is reccomended that you use latest Spring Boot version 3.x
Who this course is for
Software engineer, technical architects, technical manager who wants to know how to implement GraphQL backend using Java Spring Boot

Description
Hello everyone welcome to my latest class! I'm Jen Lezan and I'll be your teacher for this course. I am coming back with another Affinity Publisher focused class that revolves around physical planning and productivity related printables. As I am sure you can tell already, I really enjoy planning! Planning lets me take my need for organization and allows me to combine it with my graphic design background and creativity to come up with some fantastic productivity printables that I sell on digital marketplaces, but that I also use in my daily life for both work and family related organizing. For this course, I wanted to take you through my process of how I design bullet journal style digital printables that can be used for paper planning. I personally sell these products online, but this can also just be a personal project that you utilize for yourself. I find that I enjoy the concept of bullet journaling, but it can take quite a bit of time to draw all of the beautiful layouts that are out there by hand. So, my solution for that is to design them in Affinity Publisher.I wanted to share some tips, my knowledge and process to help you build a productivity printable that you can customize to your needs. Using Affinity Publisher makes things a little less cumbersome as you don't have to erase as you would if you were designing these spreads by hand and instead you can just undo! I also love the fact that this is a great asset that can be used as giveaways for email sign ups or that you can sell them as downloads on digital market places. You only have to make it once and you can reuse it time and time again or you can sell it over and over again. What the class is aboutIn this class, I wanted to take things a step further - rather than just walking you through the process of designing a composition and how to use Affinity Publisher, I also wanted to share some of the theories behind what is considered "good" composition. At the very beginning of this class, we will go through some basics and tips for good composition and layout. Ideas that as you create printables more and more, will start to come more naturally. These design principles allow you to communicate ideas in visual format more effectively. Then, we will jump into the basics of Affinity Publisher.A few of the skills students will learnYou will learn the basics of how to use the Affinity Publisher tools and interface to design a bullet journal style planner printable. Keeping in mind the basics of design and composition, we will design a printable that you can then customize to your own liking or in order to use it for sale in your own shop.I like using affinity publisher for creating printables because it is so easy to create precise shapes, space them evenly, align elements and design using multiple spreads and master spreads. This course is a fantastic class to also really hone in on your layout design skill and get more comfortable with Affinity Publisher - as you are going through the basic process of creating in the program by designing the class project. As I said before, We will start with the basics of understanding design principles as they relate to composition and layout. Then we will jump into the basics of Affinity Designer. We will go over the tool bars and functions in the Affinity Publisher workspace, then we will start to build out our bullet journal style planner printable. You will learn how to design basic layouts, create pages, get an understanding of the layers function in the program/ We will also go over how to use the shape tools, the line tool and how to use the the move and align functions. Then, we will get your file exported so you can test it on your home printer. Finally, we will go over some tips to keep in mind for setting up your file for use on digital marketplaces. Remember, in order to sell your final printable - you do need to make some changes to the final layout so it is your own.To make things easier, I will be including the class project affinity publisher template that you can edit and get acquainted with before you start your own. I will also include a PDF and JPEG of the file that you can print out for personal use. What you Need to Take this CourseAll you need to take this class is a computer with Affinity Publisher installed. I would also suggest having access to some paper and a printer so you can test print your final design.

Description
This class teaches engineers essential business, so you can one day build your own business instead of just helping others build theirs.Good engineers are rare in any societies. It would be amazing if they could all build their own business and make their impacts. Sadly, this is not the case. Engineering schools curricula teach no business or business sense. This course teaches engineers to become effective entrepreneurs and understand the logic of business. When engineers only know engineering, their career potentials will be undermined. The course is given by Dr. Chang Liu, an engineer with a PhD degree in engineering from the California Institute of Technology. The teacher has been a tenured professor, an industry engineer insider, and startup CEO. He will discuss various aspects of entrepreneurship with a straight clarity. He teaches passionately from direct personal experience and success. The topics cover product making, product marketing, investor relations, and power idea moves veterans use to attract big investments. This book is written holistically. It is made by an engineer to millions of future engineers. Come join us, and change your life. With this course, you will become leaders, managers, founders instead of just an engineer employee working for someone all your life.I offer this class to focus on three key points:1. Don't leave your day job unless you are prepared.2. How to prepare yourself beyond formal education.3. The right path to take control of your life and get ahead of other smart people.Survival business essentials for engineers. Want your idea to get investment? want your startup to have better chance? what are the real crux to beat the odds and make money?Steps to startup and get funding. Straight honesty and clarity compared to chicken soup. Mindset adjustment. It is a sad truth that engineering schools never teach business, and at best do dry ppt assignments for "entrepreneurship" and "innovation". All engineers can be great entrepreneurs - the mission of this book is to teach the hidden secret and give you the key. This unique course contains carefully crafted lessons from an entrepreneur was was a nerdy engineer - this course is not a get rich quick chicken soup - it is clear, honest, and deeply insightful. This is a business class for engineers and coders. Engineers are passionate and smart. However, most engineers don't know business and some have not even worked for any for profit companies yet. This is a guide for school smart engineers to translate your inventive imagination to real money and impact.Engineers can have a great career but most do not realize it. They become stuck as engineers or in engineering professions for ever. This is because the right concepts were never taught in engineering schools early. This is the missing course all engineering schools should have taught.Great engineer entrepreneurs like Elon Musk, Thomas Edison and Steve Jobs are not the role model for engineers, just like Michael Jordan is not the model for inner city children. They are the exceptions, not rules. But we also misunderstood them by societal media. Most engineers know too little about the real game.Engineering is knowledge. Business is dark knowledge. Harness random creativity to focused impact.Chang Liu has a PhD degree from Caltech and is a Fellow of the IEEE. He was an engineer professor with many inventions and participated in advanced research programs. In order to find the truth about entrepreneurship initiatives, he joined the industry and become an entrepreneur. What he learned outside of academic surprised him - it was a totally eye opening experience. He wore many hats and quickly gained experiences in management, business building, product making, marketing, and investment.Engineer Entrepreneur Guide Book---Business is not common. Unfortunately this misconception is stuck for life for many.Entrepreneur is not a boss. When you can pay for everyone who works for you, you are the boss.Running business is not starting one. MBA students can not be entrepreneurs either.Business is not driven by ideas alone. It is the realization of ideas that is hard.To elevate your skills to product making takes tremendous team work.Making a product is only the start of business. Selling anything is 10 times harder.Business building, even the simplest ones, takes a life time to practice and prepare. Most engineers waste all the time thinking about the perfect biggest idea, and never commit to boots on the ground practicing. The world does not need new offerings, no matter how wonderful. Most engineers spend too much time guessing what others may want or need. This is wrong. On the other hand, you the engineer must know what people demand and cater. No matter how great the idea is and may sound, your business is only your business. You fund it, build it, test it, and grow it. Everyone else is busy doing their plans.Innovation is not making new things. Innovation is making old things new.In every little branch of society is tremendous amount of money to be made. You must commit to deep dive.Business is not mind, it is a mindset. This mindset can only be taught by yourself. This is what Musk, Jobs and Gates had. They are mistaken as smart students, but that is not why they are they. Most smart students don't become them.Even ordinary business success is epic. However, we ignore them.---Business is not easy and not common. Business is not glamorous.Business is not greedy.Business is not for money. People who make money from business are actually rare. Most people just make a living.---Anyone can become Elon Musk by mastering five different thinking. Let's talk about the five mind tricks of Elon Musk, so you know how you can become one yourself. The key to become Elon Musk is not smart. Elon Musk think not smarter, but differently. Many people admire entrepreneurs like Elon Musk. However, most people do not know that everyone can become Elon Musk. The difference between Elon Musk and ordinary people are laughably small. The five things that can makes a Elon Musk out of everyone are summarized here.1. Don't over think.2. Start doing and making.3. Do a big idea, not a cute idea.4. Start young.5. Be patient. Most people think and never execute. They typically do the following:1. They want to have a perfect idea.2. They want to have a unique different idea. They want to do something no one has done. The mistake is a faulty logic. Most people think that smart thinking will generate funding, and funding will make them become a boss, and they can make employees do the work they don't know how to do. I hope you can see why this is wrong. Most people never start to make what they think. They never turn an idea into a tangible product. Mostly it is because making a product involves a lot of work. This is the test to differentiate a pretender from a real entrepreneur. This is perhaps related to the first mistake, where people believe a better idea will help them avoid doing the physical work. Like the John Lennon song, life is what happens when you are busy making plans.

Description
Learn the most common real time operating system in the Automotive software industry. OSEK operating system which is the standard platform that is running on almost all of the Electronics Control Units (ECUs) in modern vehicles to support different application software components. This course provides a complementary part to the previous coursentro To OSEK OS I to give you a complete overview of what an OSEK real time operating system is and how it works using ARM Keil Uvision simulator and/or TM4C123 evaluation kit. In this course, we will start with quick review on the development cycle in OSEK environment, Oil system description, Task management and resource management in OSEK real time kernel. Then we will learn the alarm management, Event control and Hook routines in OSEK OS. OSEK Alarm Management You will understand the counter/alarm concepts, alarm types, alarm actions, alarm oil description and how can we use alarm objects to support periodic threads in OSEK kernel. The APIs that are provided by OSEK kernel to handle alarms. Each point is supported with practical example to ensure a rigid understanding and programming exercise will be conducted at the end. Event Control The event concept will be introduced first, Then the usage and oil description of event objects. The events effects on the task management and scheduling activities. The events & the server threads. Event setting as an alarm actions. Event APIs that are provided by OSEK kernel. Each point is supported with practical example to ensure a rigid understanding and programming exercise will be conducted at the end.
