Scanning for adware and malware
To start a scan, press the Start scan button. This button will then become Stop scan. You can press it again anytime during the scan, to cancel the scan. The whole scan usually only takes a few seconds.
If you want to scan only the current user, uncheck Scan all users, before starting the scan. The SYSTEM account will always be scanned, though.
The progress bar just below the Start scan button will tell you the scan's progress, and a text label below the progress bar will tell you which section is currently being scanned.
While the scan is being performed, you can have a look the the items already found. Double-clicking an item automatically takes you to its location in the registry. You can also jump to the item's location in the file system, when available, by right-clicking the item's line and selecting Open file location. This allows you to have a better insight of the item, and decide whether you want to remove it or not.
Tip: To save time, while the scan is being processed, uncheck any items you don't want to remove, or whitelist items you don't want Ultra Adware killer to display in future scans. More info on the whitelist below.
You can quickly check/unckeck all items in the list: right-click the list to open it's context menu, and then select Check all, or Check none, respectively. The context menu also has a Open registry location menu item which will perform the same action as double-clicking the list item, as mentioned above.
When the scan is complete you will be presented with a message box telling you how many items were found, and you can access the scan's log by pressing the Menu button, and then selecting the View scan log menu item.

VariCAD is 3D / 2D CAD software primarily intended for mechanical engineering design. The comprehensive CAD software enables designers to quickly create, evaluate, and modify their models. The software is sold as one "fully loaded" package, with all features and functions, for one very affordable price. VariCAD delivers an excellent performance-to-price ratio, making it one of the smartest choices on the market today.

User Interface and System Environment
VariCAD's Graphical User Interface (GUI) has been designed to allow quick and intuitive 3D/2D orientation. It has been carefully tailored and tuned to reflect the thought process of a designer, so that ideas can be captured and communicated with a minimal number of steps. All commands were created with a focus on ease of use.
You can start by creating a 3D model and then use it to automatically create drawings files, or you can draw only in 2D. Designing in 3D is generally more "natural," in that it closely represents actual parts and assemblies. The 3D approach is usually more intuitive than 2D drafting. Models created in 3D are easily converted into conventional 2D documentation. VariCAD provides tools for 2D updates after changes of 3D models.
3D Modeling
VariCAD provides a library of basic 3D shapes (like a box, cylinder, cone, etc.), which are easily modified by editing their dimensions. Solids can be created also by profile rotation, extrusion, or lofting. More complex tools include rotation blending between two profiles, lofting between a circle and rectangle or between different profiles, and creation of helical surfaces.
Solids can be added or subtracted, thus forming Boolean trees representing real mechanical parts. Boolean operations have options of automatic trimming (so called selective Boolean operations). Predefined operations like drilling of holes, face milling or groove milling are also available. Edges can be rounded or chamfered. VariCAD provides a lot of possibilities of solid transformations or their editing. Also, you can easily edit Boolean trees - either selecting solid parts from 3D, or selecting them from a list displaying structure.
Parameters and Geometrical Constraints
Although you can comfortably transform solids or their parts, you can optionally define geometrical constraints. Once defined, constraints allow you "to stick" object at defined location. More exactly, you can remove degrees of freedom of constrained objects. If other objects are changed or transformed, constrained object changes its position automatically. For instance, if you constrain a groove to the end of a shaft and the shaft length is changed, the groove remains in constant distance from the end edge. Constraints can be defined among elements of a solid, among entire solids or within a 2D profile creating a solid (for instance, by extrusion).
Whenever you enter a dimension of solid, a distance in constraint or dimension in 2D profile used for solid creation, you can optionally use parameter or even a mathematical expression containing parameters. Changing parameter values, you can change shapes or locations of solids.
3D Assemblies and Groups
VariCAD also provides tools for assembly support. If the link between a part and assembly is defined, any changes made to the part file are reflected in the assembly file and vice-versa. Linked copies of solids can also be defined (so called identical solids). In such case, editing of one object causes update of all its identical copies. Solid groups can be defined as well, making selection and visibility changes simple, for multiple objects.

Calculations
VariCAD can calculate 2D section area, surface area, volume, mass, center of gravity, and moment of inertia. Mechanical parts calculations are also included - for standard parts used every day by mechanical designers. There are calculations of tension and compression springs, pre-stressed bolted connections, pins and parallel keys, grooved shafts, bearings, beams under combined stress (bending and torsion), spur and bevel gearing geometry, and belt drives.
Surface Development (Sheet Metal Unbending)
3D - 2D Export
3D models are easily converted into 2D drawings to produce conventional drafting documentation. You can create 2D views of one or more selected solids by defining the views in 3D. In addition, you can also export specified sections. VariCAD supports updates of a 2D drawing after changes in 3D.
2D Drawing and Editing
Drawing functions are optimized for easy use in engineering. Some handy features of 2D drawing include: automatic detection of objects and snap points, numerous snap modes, auxiliary construction lines, Ortho mode, rectangular grid, drawing layers, block creation, hatching with automatic border detection, advanced dimensioning, finish symbols, welding symbols, tolerance symbols, and many more. You can draw in millimeters or in inches.
BOM and Title Blocks
VariCAD provides tools for maintaining the data structure of the product. There are links between attributes of parts and content of title blocks. You can create a bill of material (BOM) from an assembly, or easily modify the database using commands like mass attribute changes, sorting of information, etc. Each part can contain attributes, like name, type of material or supplier. Such data can be used for material requisitions, creation of bills of materials (BOM), filling of title blocks, or other purposes.
Compatibility
VariCAD can interchange files with other CAD systems. You can export STEP (3D), STL (3D), IGES (3D), DWG (2D), DXF (2D) files, and import STEP (3D), DWG (2D), DXF (2D). The files can be converted individually or in batch routines, thereby converting multiple files in one step.

Visual Subst is a handy utility which allows you to associate the most accessed directories with virtual drives. It solves 3 main issues with the built-in 'subst' command: it seamlessly creates drives for elevated applications, adds editable drive labels and restores virtual drives after reboots. Also, Visual Subst makes it easier to create, edit and remove virtual drives in a GUI way.

You can use virtual drives everywhere - it's so much easier to access files in a project directory you are currently working on using just a single drive letter. Visual Subst provides you with a clean, simple and distraction-free user interface where you can manage all your virtual drives at any time.

How It Works
Generally, a virtual drive is a symbolic link in the local MS-DOS device namespace. It is just one more Windows feature added for backward compatibility with old programs and batch scripts.

Unfortunately, there are some significant limitations with the built-in 'subst' command under Windows Vista and above. Virtual drives created with 'subst' command aren't visible for elevated applications (if you run a file manager or Command Prompt as administrator, you will realize that apps see these drives differently). You cannot define drive labels - label of the source drive is always used and it cannot be changed. All virtual drives are removed when the user logs off or restarts the computer.

Visual Subst makes virtual drives usable again under newest versions of Windows
• UAC and elevated applications: Visual Subst seamlessly creates virtual drives for elevated applications duplicating the drives created for the standard user. It bypasses UAC prompts using the same technique as Hidden Start with /NOUAC switch making no distraction to the user.
• Virtual drive labels: Drive labels are useful if you often use Windows Explorer. Visual Subst allows you to define and edit virtual drive labels easily.
• Restoring drives after restart: Visual Subst saves the list of virtual drives and loads it on the system startup. No additional action required - just make sure that "Create virtual drives on system startup" option is enabled.

The stand out apps that are preinstalled are Microsoft Office LTSC 2021, Photoshop and StartAllBack, Office can take a very long time to install onto your OS, so by having it pre-installed you do not need to wait, should you not need office then you are able to uninstall it, but if that is the case, you'd be better off using Last11_v2 as this is an almost empty OS and you can select which apps you do want to install using ssWPI.

Features
* LivePE - This is for Backup, Recovery, Repair and installing your Last11 OS, it has some music included that auto plays when you boot it up, you can change the mp3 files in the X:\Music folder to have your own taste of music available.
* ssWPI - This will allow you to select which apps/games you want installed (if you run it from the LivePE it will install the application after the Last11 installation completes.
* Intro Movie - Instead of the "Getting things read screen" I have made the X:\sources\$IntroMovie\IntroMovie.mp4 play, as the Graphics drivers are not installed and the system is very busy, I recommend if you replace this movie with your own to use a low framerate video where it deosn't matter if the motion isn't smooth.
* Settings - The first thin you see when your PC setup is complete is Settings, this allows you to set the PC name etc. I recommend you configure your drive letters and use this tool to move your Documents off to another partition/disk. You can right click the Downloads in explorer's Quick Link and change it's location to another drive also.

Notes & Tips
* If you Select All in ssWPI make sure to untick StartIsBack and MyWallpapersLive as these are installed by default at $PostLogonApps and may stop installation of the apps if you try to re-install them without uninstalling/exiting them.
* This release does not have Explorer Tabs enabled as the Beta builds are unstable and will be automatically downloaded with Windows Updates once they become stable (Moments 1, Due October 2022)
* You can sign in with your Outlook/MS account using Microsoft Settings and use the existing "password" to enable it, this will keep the User folder for your user, so all the apps and tweaks will still be enabled for you and all the online and onedrive features will work as expected. Store will allow you to access your apps/data.
* We have only removed Chinese/Japanese and some Retail Demo files/user. so all features are available to re-activate.
* Start All Is Back can be accessed by right clicking the start button and choose "Properties", This allows you to modify or disable it for the current user, if you are wanting the default Windows 11 experience.
* You can add your own Locale to install by copying the AutoUnattend_USA.xml and naming it whatever suffix you will recognise (it will show up in the LivePE), then edit the Keyboard Layout, Time Zone etc.
* By default you should always reboot after your installation has fully completed and you've configured your applications the way you want, including any updates and settings. Let it boot back into windows again before capturing an image with 'Terabyte Image For Windows' or your preffered backup software. This allows updates to be applied fully and your OS to process any scheduled tasks.
* You can disable the Live Wallpaper by default by using Autoruns or Task Manager to disable or remove MLWApp.exe from startup. If you never want it on any installation; remove the "X:\sources\$PostLogonApps\MyWallpapersLive_v2.5_L ast11_NoAutoStart_ppApp.exe" from the ISO/USB.
* You can disable the Music in the LivePE by removing X:\ppAppsLive\zzMPC-BE_x64_ppAppLive folder, this will not affect using MPC in the PE.
* You can disable the intro movie by removing/renaming X:\sources\$Scripts\Run_00_IntroMovie.cmd, you will see all the behind the scenes scripts on first boot. Do not reboot your PC until it's at the desktop with no command windows open. You can close the Intro Movie by clicking it once and pressing Alt+F4 without needing to disable the script mentioned.
* You can edit the X:\sources\$ssWPI\ssWPI_Options.ini HideMenu=No to show menus again by default, I thought it was time to try the modern minimalist approach.

once you have downloaded them, drag them into the "\ppAppsInstalls" or "\ssAppsInstalls" folder checking the filename to know which one it belongs in. * Note: You may have to manually update ssWPI databases (Rescan for items) by pressing F5 in ssWPI if you update applications.
You can even use these downloaded applications without ssWPI on any PC by installing:[Ссылки доступны только зарегистрированным пользователям . Регистрируйся тут...] and downloading the latest: SetupS.SendTo.Suite_vx.x.x.x_ssApp.exe and manually installing it first.
* Take Ownership - if you find your unable to access certain files/folders on your PC after installing, simply right click them and pick "Take Ownership" this will allow you to have full access again. If you have a large amount of folders/file to take ownership of you can use the X:\Appz\ResetPermissions.exe tool to do this quickly.
* Spotlight doesn't always change the lock screen (on any fresh Win 11 install), to fix this go to Settings/Personalize/Lock Screen/ change it from "Windows Spotlight" to Picture or Slideshow, then change it back.
* Widgets are off by default, right click the traybar and tick "Show Widgets button:, you must be signed in with a MS account for this to work properly.

Windows Server 2022 brings advanced multi-layered protection, Azure-based hybrid capabilities, and a flexible application platform for the first time. This release also includes secure kernel features that help protect Windows Server hardware, firmware, and functionality from complex security threats. The core server is built on technologies such as Windows Defender System Guard and Virtualization-based Security to mitigate the risk of sophisticated malware and firmware vulnerabilities.

The new release also supports secure connection with a number of new features, including faster HTTPS connections with more secure encryption, industry-standard AES 256 encryption for SMB, and more. Windows Server 2022 improves hybrid server management with significantly improved virtual machine management, advanced event viewing, and many other new features in Windows Admin Center. In addition, the release significantly improves the work with Windows containers, such as reduced image size for faster downloads, simplified network policy implementation, and introduced containerization tools for .NET applications.

As a LTSC release, Windows Server 2022 includes the Desktop Experience and Server Core installation options for Datacenter and Standard editions. Security features that are part of the current Windows 10 release (20H2) are now included in Windows Server 2022, like tamper and reputation-based protection.

Security in Windows Server 2022
It's no secret that most businesses worldwide are struggling with IT security - as organizations and society becomes more and more reliant on digital systems there are just too many avenues for increasingly sophisticated attackers to find a way in. Compromising systems before they start up through boot kits or root kits is becoming more popular and building on the work Microsoft's done for Secured Core PCs, Windows Server 2022 brings Secured Core Servers.

Secure-Core Servers
If you haven't heard of Secure-core, think of marrying a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip for securely storing secrets, Bitlocker for full volume drive encryption and Virtualization Based Security (VBS) to protect credentials while the system is running. In other words, all the optional Microsoft security features that you could turn on for a normal PC, but all enabled out of the box. First out of the gate was Surface Pro X (which I'm writing this article on) but Secured Core PCs are available from Lenovo, Dell, Panasonic, HP and others.

For servers this means that when you purchase a system with this label the OEM will have provided secure firmware and drivers and also will have enabled all these security features out of the box. You can also check on the status of your servers, plus enable security features using the new add-in for Windows Admin Center (WAC).

Note that Secured-core servers lay the foundation for the forthcoming generation of processors from Intel, AMD and Qualcomm that'll include the Pluton security processor, built on security features first seen in Xbox One. TPM has been very successful over the last 10 years as the first broadly available hardware security root of trust but as it's a separate chip advanced attacks leverage the connection between the TPM chip and the main CPU to gain access to secure information or tamper with the data. Because Pluton is built into the processor itself it will mitigate this vector.

Trusted Platform Module
TPM provides storage for security information such as Bitlocker keys, while Secure Boot checks the signatures of all boot software (UEFI firmware, EFI applications and the OS itself) to ensure that they haven't been subverted by a root kit.

Virtualization-based Security
Virtualization-based Security (VBS) uses hardware virtualization (based on Hyper-V technology but don't think of this as a separate VM, just an isolated part of the memory space in the OS) to stop attacks against credentials (Pass-the-Hash / Mimikatz for example). VBS is also the platform for Hypervisor-Enforced Code Integrity (HVCI) which protects modification of the Control Flow Guard (CFG) bitmap, provides a valid certificate for Credential Guard and checks that device drivers have an EV certificate.

Control Flow and System Guard
Control Flow Guard is a way that Windows protects against malicious applications corrupting memory of legitimate applications. System Guard is the umbrella term for taking the above technologies and providing these security guarantees for Windows: protect the integrity of the system as it starts up and validate this through local and remote attestation. It uses Static Root of Trust for Measurement (SRTM), Dynamic Root of Trust for Measurement (DRTM) and System Management Mode (SMM) protection to achieve this.

Memory Protection
Boot Direct Memory Access (DMA) protection is part of Kernel DMA Protection which can stop attacks against Bitlocker and other security technologies that rely on storing secrets in memory while the system is running. Plug a drive with malicious software into a port that supports DMA mapping for fast transfers and hey presto - it just read your Bitlocker key, with DMA protection this isn't possible.

Other security enhancements
Windows Server 2022 will have the latest version of Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 enabled by default but this version will be available across earlier Windows Server versions as well. When managing lots of Windows or Hyper-V containers across a server farm, the preferred approach is to give them an identity in Active Directory using group Managed Service Accounts (gMSA) but today that requires you to domain-join the container host - in 2022 this won't be necessary. And if you're encrypting your SMB (file server) traffic you can now use AES-256 encryption.

Windows Server 2022 Scalability
Another headline in the preview announcement is the increase in scalability, a physical server can now have 48 TB of RAM, 64 sockets with 2048 Logical Processors (cores, or Hyperthreaded cores). While these figures are incredible (VMware vSphere 7 update 1 supports 24 TB and 768 CPUs per host) they matter to exactly 0.000001% of Windows Server customers. And mostly that customer is Microsoft itself, where in Azure the benefit of humongous machines is the ability to provide gigantic VMs for SAP and other huge database workloads for enterprises with very deep pockets. On the other end of the spectrum, the Server Core container image for Windows Server 2022 is 1 GB / 20% smaller than in previous versions, shaving start-up and transfer times for containers running the Windows Server 2022 container image.

Other Enhancements in Windows Server 2022
Windows Server 2022 will also bring (in the right context, details are scant at the moment) another feature that's been forged in the fire of Azure's hosts - reboot-less patching. Here patches are applied to a running OS without requiring a restart, improving uptime. If you're running a mix of Windows and Linux containers in Kubernetes you can use Calico to manage networking across the entire cluster. If you're running globally distributed applications, managing time zones in containers has been difficult (it's based on the host's time-zone, making it difficult to move containers around), virtualized time zones in Windows Server 2022 will take care of this. Speaking of Linux, Microsoft is aiming to bring the improved boot security to Linux as well, just as they're doing in Azure.

Windows Server 2022 and the Hybrid World
Most of the presentation at Ignite on Windows Server 2022 was taken up by talking about features around, not in, the product itself, such as the ones recently released in GA 2103 version of Windows Admin Center. Windows Admin Center can now be run in the Azure portal, can automatically update your extensions, supports outbound proxy configuration, lets you pop out tools into separate browser windows, brings a revamped Event Viewer UI (first update since 1993 believe it or not) and lets you reassign virtual switches when moving a VM from one host or cluster to another. WAC also supports HTTP/2 which equals faster performance.
