The central goal of Buddhism is to initiate a transformative process that would help people become less capable of perpetrating suffering, stress, and sickness of the mind. The Lord Buddha diagnosed the sickness (suffering), identified its cause (the original cause of suffering), explained that the sickness was curable (the cessation of suffering), and showed the way to treat the sickness (the way leading to the cessation of suffering).In this course, you will be introduced to the above in detail. I support the Buddhist core teachings with other religious/spiritual teachings to get a holistic understanding of our problems and their solutions. All our life, we work hard to fulfil our desires. One dream fulfilled spawns another. We seek happiness, but for most of us, we think happiness comes with having more. Instead of being content with an ordinary, simple life, our vanity causes us to want more wealth, success, glory, power, and so on. Our ambitions are endless. But the truth is, more isn't necessarily better and it can have adverse effects. In the endless pursuit of our desires, we actually create much suffering for ourselves.The Buddhist sutras tell us that people with many desires suffer greatly because they're constantly seeking self-benefit and gain. When we give rise to desire, we act in order to seek things. When we can't get what we want, afflictions arise and we suffer. We might get into arguments with people over what we want. We might tire ourselves out scheming to get what we want. Our efforts to fulfil our desires bring us much affliction. Those with few desires don't suffer like this.If we want to get rid of our afflictions, we have to know their source - our desires. We can then get rid of them by being content. Contentment leads to spiritual riches and a sense of satisfaction and happiness with what we already have. With fewer desires, we can sleep soundly at night without worries. Our hearts can be at peace. After all, what do we really come into the world for? What is life really about? Only by turning toward the Dharma can we begin to understand life's true value and purpose. We can get perspective and see things in a positive light. A sense of gratitude will fill our hearts, and we'll know how to make use of our lives in the most meaningful way, by contributing to the greater good.

Several different types of acoustic logs are used, based on the frequencies used, the way the signal is recorded, and the purpose of the log. All these logs require fluid in the well to couple the signal to the surrounding rocks. Hello and welcome to my new course 'The Complete Dummies Guide to MongoDB Server'. You already know that in this information technology age 'data' is everything. And a Database is the place where these information is stored in tables. There are two types of database. A structured database and also there is un-structured or no-sql kind of database. We will learn about the No-SQL kind of database and the most popular No-SQL databases the Mongo DB Server in this course. Here is an overview about the sessions that are included in this course.In the first session, we will have an introduction to database. Then we will see the concepts of SQL or Structured Query Language which is used in RDBMS in comparison with the No-SQL or non-RDBMS. And in the next session, we will move on to the basics of MongoDB server. We will see how we can install the MongoDB Community Edition into your computer and then we will download the MongoDB compass, which is a tool and the user interface. Also we will install the MongoDB shell which is a command line interface. And later we will connect Compass and Mongosh with our MongoDB Server that is running in the background. And then we will move on with MongoDB basic operations. We will see how we can select a database, create a collection and insert documents into that collection. These will be done both through the command line as well as the graphical user interface.In the next session we will see more details about the MongoDB collections. We will Create, Show and Drop collections with various options.And then we will get ourselves familiarized with the JSON and BSON formats which is used in Mongo DB. Then in the comming set of sessions, we will see the CRUD operations. The Create Operation with Insert One, Insert Many and their options. We will try the create operation both graphically as well as using command interface.Then comes the Read operation with Find method. We will explore different options of the find method.After that the update operation using the methods updateone, update many, find and modify, find and replace and the varions options that we can use along with these operations. We will try them both graphically and using the mongosh command line.And then finally the delete operations. Single delete using delete one and multiple delete using delete many. We will also try the bulk write operations in MongoDB.And then we will proceed with the basic operators of mongodb. Before we proceed we will create a nice collection by which we can demonstrate the operators. After that we will see how we can use the Equal and Not Equal Operators, Less than and greater than operators, and and nor operator, in and not in operation. We will also try examples for each operation.Then we will proceed with more complex operations like projection operation in mongodb which is similar to views in SQL where we can select ony the data we want. Then the limiting query, Skipping query and Sorting query operations for manipulation of result.In the next session, we will see the index and how search is using this index to make search easier. We will see the default index mechanism of mongodb and how we can override it and add new indexes, verify them and delete them and also about the text indexes.Then we will proceed with the concept of document atomicity in which all the documents and its related subdocuments are kept in the same collection and how we can manipulate it during specific actions.After that we will try the search and find operation using Regular Expressions. We can precisely manipulate the search operaton using Regular Expressions pattern matching. Then we will have a detailed session on the cursors in mongodb. Cursors return a pointer pointing to the documents in mongodb. We will create curors, retrive as an array and also we will iterate through the curors using javascript looping statements.Then we will have an elaborate session about the aggregation operation in mongo db. Just like joins in rdbms, it will combine data from different collections, perform conditions and sorting and deliver the result. We will see the single purpose aggregations like distinct, count, estimated document count etc and then we will see the agression pipeline. The different stages in aggregation pipleline. We will try a simple and also an advanced example from the mongodb official documentation. In the final session, I will also be providing you with the link to a free learning material from the mongodb official documentation if you want to dive more deep into mongodb aggregations and different operators and conditions used in it.And that's all about the topics which are currently included in this quick course. The sample database and the materials has been uploaded and shared in a folder. I will include the link to download them in the last session or the resource section of this course. And this has nothing to do with us, it's the mind repeating excessively and draining our energy and focus. Only if we could learn a method to put an end to this.This course is designed to do just that. I am Aman Varma, Counseling Psychologist and a man who has a business, social life and so many things going on that occasionally I will worry just like you. In the past, I had developed an Anxiety disorder and excess worry issues. I recovered from them and decided to share my insights as well as a CBT psychotherapy-based plan to overcome worry & anxiety. In this course, I share with you a step-by-step plan to put an end to this burden and live mental light. 'Worry' is the epitome of non-productive distress, because although it is by definition distressing, it also impairs the person's ability to resolve any problems that realistically underlie the worry. Anxiety is one of the most common mental and emotional health issues globally, which we've been trying to alleviate for a long time. Fortunately, we have Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT is the most evidence-based (proven by science) approach to help people deal with their anxiety challenges and allow them to live the life they want. Psychologists, therapists, and counsellors with appropriate training use it regularly in private practice and the NHS to help people deal with many mental health issues, including anxiety. This course is built on Understanding Trauma: The Basics. The instructor will walk learners through a quick review of the basics of trauma. After this, learners will take a deeper dive into the impact of trauma both neurologically and behaviorally in order to gain a better understanding of themselves and others.When an intense stressor or threat happens, a biological cycle occurs to prepare the body for mobilization. However, when this cycle is unable to complete the body will become stuck in the trauma response. When stuck, people might find themselves in a chronic state of either mobilization (fight or flight) or immobilization (freeze or collapse). The instructor will review the areas that "stuckness" can happen in this cycle and then tie together the meaning of unmet needs, the threat response system, and self-protective defenses through the lens of a trauma cycle. Finally, tools are offered to support others and oneself when in this system to move out of stuckness into a complete cycle.What is primarily taught in your course? Understanding the impact of trauma on the behavioral and biological responses that might come from a survival system. In addition, learners will gain tools to work with the threat response system.
