A blue screen usually means a lot of work for administrators. When things get really bad, there's no other choice but to configure a new system setup. And this is where O&O BlueCon comes in. O&O BlueCon is at an administrator's side during the course of a daily routine as well as whenever disaster strikes. Based on Windows PE, it offers a wide range of programs for, among other things, repairing systems, searching and correcting errors, restoring lost data, resetting passwords, and the list goes on. O&O BlueCon is an administrator's IT first aid kit for day to day use.

O&O BlueCon starts all programs directly from a bootable medium (USB or CD/DVD) and can so avoid the risk of data loss caused by overwriting data on the computer, which might be the case with a new installation. Seamless integration of all O&O BlueCon components saves the user the time-consuming job of collecting individual programs.

The most important innovation in O&O BlueCon 20 is the integration of O&O Check & Repair, a tool to search for why a system no longer starts. In the first step "Check", the system files and components are checked for missing or damaged files and/or registration key. "Repair" then tries to automatically correct these errors. If this step is not successful, the current version 20 of O&O BlueCon offers further information, including the log files.

The creation of the bootable rescue medium was completely revised in O&O BlueCon 20 and simplified again. With just a few clicks, the start medium is created and ready for use. New is the integration into a separate rescue environment, so that the primary recovery environment can continue to exist without changes. Any integrated drivers can also be utilized.

Auto-Align® Post support
The distance between lavalier microphones and the boom may vary as actors move around, shifting the phase over time. Nuendo 12 features seamless integration with Auto-Align Post 2, making time and phase alignment of continuously moving microphones much easier. Integrated as an ARA 2 plug-in extension, it is sim ply a matter of engaging Auto-Align Post and selecting a reference audio track. The process is non-destructive, with the original audio always intact and ready to be instantly recalled or reprocessed.
Even more editing improvements
Nuendo 12 offers many new detail tools and shortcuts for audio event fade editing, including the new size with fade modifier key.
You can now also use key commands to increase or decrease a range selection in all four directions, including moving the range selection itself.
There is a new option to create or modify fade in/out length while resizing events by holding a modifier key and using the Select tool.
You can now assign key commands for slip editing besides using the mouse and tool modifiers.
Dialogue Recording
As the Home of Dialogue, in Nuendo 12 we have paid special attention to the challenges of dialogue recording. Netflix's TTAL dialogue script support

The TTAL script content is converted to record-ready ADR markers, including the dialogue text, characters and useful metadata, such as on/off screen notices, etc. Script change decisions made during the ADR production can be documented within the Nuendo marker editor and brought back to the workflow through the TTAL export function.
Connection to EdiCue
Nuendo 12 supports EdiCue v4, the award-winning ADR cueing application.Creating cues in Nuendo with the EdiCue Project Interface window allows dialogue supervisors to load character text from PDF shooting scripts and apply the required properties to enable a smooth recording session. Multi-channel interleaved support
WaveLab 11 introduces extended support for multi-channel interleaved files and, for the first time, multi-channel interleaved editing in the Audio Editor. Supporting up to 22.2 surround layouts of WAV files (including Ambisonics files for pre-authoring purposes), a multi-channel file can be opened, edited and saved like any other set of mono/stereo files. Featuring comprehensive controls to make precise editing easier, it's also possible for external editors to work on selected channels only. The detailed new selection options include highly flexible frequency-domain selection in the Spectrum Editor. In the Audio Montage, automatic splitting of multi-channel audio files into mono or stereo clusters makes it fast to import a large multi-channel file. This also allows plug-ins to process channel clusters independently of one another.
Track Groups for multitrack/stems workflows
Track Groups comprise audio tracks which are routed to a group bus, before the signal continues through the Montage output and then Master sections. This provides an additional summing stage with effects plug-ins, gain and pan controls. Track Groups are especially useful for stem mastering and, alongside Track Lanes, another way to apply a common track group effect chain to stem mastering projects.
Track Groups can be created by selecting tracks from a corresponding Group Channel. Using the Track Group Editor, tracks and track groups can be named/renamed, have colors assigned and moved per drag and drop.
Track Lanes for multitrack/stems workflows
Track Lanes is a flexible new feature that can divide an audio track into eight sub lanes, each lane hosting audio clips, a facility especially useful when working with mix stems inside the Montage. As well as clip effects, track effects can be applied to all clips, providing a final processing chain for all stems on the track. Track Lanes can also be used for sound design tasks like assembling, editing and processing sound effects from layered clips. Each Track Lane features comprehensive controls for selection, solo/mute, fold/unfold, lanes can be converted to tracks, selected tracks can be merged as lanes and more.
Parameter automation with clip envelopes
You can now use clip envelopes to automate the parameters of VST 3 plug-ins. Along with the volume, pan and effect wet/dry parameters, clip envelopes are managed from the new Automation Envelope panel in the Inspector window. Envelopes can be assigned to parameters by right-clicking on the parameter, single envelope points can be text edited, envelopes can be turned on/off and their visibility is easily managed, individually or globally.

SyncTime is the simplest solution to synchronize your files. Did you ever wish you could easily keep up to date all your backup copies, distributed across many devices? SyncTime will just do it.

SyncTime is capable of so many things, yet is so simple to use. From manual, scheduled or completely automatic syncing, to background syncing, bidirectional syncs and sophisticated exclude filters, you'll be able to set up your syncs exactly as you imagine.
You can create as many sync items as you need and customize each one individually. A sync item mainly consists of two folders: a source and a destination. You can choose any two folders reachable in the Finder: they can be located on your Mac, on an external drive, like a USB stick, or even on a remote server.
Among the possible options you will find
• Four overwrite policies: don't touch files already existing on the destination, overwrite only if the source file is newer than the destination file, overwrite if the source file has a different timestamp or overwrite always
• Three sync types: one-way sync (default), two-way sync (merge source and destination) and one-way move (delete the source files after a successful transfer to the destination). Please read carefully about these sync types in the Help section on the SyncTime website
• Remove files that don't exist on the source anymore
• Background syncing: changes are monitored in real time in order to keep your destination always up to date
• Start to sync automatically whenever source and destination become available or sync once a day, a week or a month
• Every sync item can be dependent on other sync items: it will trigger the dependencies and run automatically when they are all completed
• Files to be overwritten or removed can be moved to the trash or to a custom backup directory
• Exclude hidden files, files with names containing specific words or matching a regular expression, and selected files. Or exclude the root directory and specify just some included files.
Other features include
• Changes have to be confirmed by default and you can inspect the files that will be added, overwritten and removed and preview them in QuickLook
• Cancel a running sync at any time and restart it later
• Syncs run in parallel
• Automatic launch on login can be enabled from the status bar menu
