IK Multimedia Neil Peart Drums for SampleTank | 1.08 Gb

Now put the sounds and grooves from legendary RUSH drummer Neil Peart into your recordings Neil Peart Drums sound and groove library for SampleTank is a new meticulously recorded SampleTank instruments collection that includes over 2,000 drum samples and more than 800 audio grooves played by Neil Peart, the legendary drummer of the iconic Canadian band, Rush, recently inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame.

Neil Peart Drums was recorded by recent Rush producer, Nick Rasculinecz, along with IK US founder and executive producer, Dave Kerzner. No expense was spared in miking this highly stylized drum kit, the actual set played by Neil during Rush's "Snakes and Arrows" album and tour.

Every nuance of the kit is captured with 8 velocities per drum using
as many as 8 round robins per velocity. In addition to the full kit instrument, you get individual SampleTank instruments for his kick drums, snare drums, toms, hi-hats, ride cymbal and crash cymbals so that you can customize the sounds, adding effects and perform individual instrument processing on each element using multiple parts in SampleTank. Add some extra compression to the kick drum, a little more reverb to the snare drum, some high-end sizzle to the hi-hats, each without affecting the other elements of the kit.

All of the drums are mapped using an extended General MIDI mapping so you can mix-and-match kit elements from the Neil Peart Kit with elements from other SampleTank factory drum kits or other additional SampleTank instruments collections like the Billy Cobham Kit. Neil Peart Drums also includes audio grooves played by Neil in the style of many of his favorite Rush songs. There are 17 instruments grouped as "songs," complete with grooves, fills and accents and each at its own tempo. And thanks to SampleTank's STRETCH engine, you can easily change the tempo of the audio grooves to match your recording without affecting the pitch of the drums.

This short course with Jo Ann Staugaard, professor of kinesiology and author of The Vital Psoas Muscle: Connecting Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Well-Being, is a great opportunity to learn about the psoas muscle in the context of therapeutic movement and yoga practices. You'll first learn about the anatomy and function of the psoas, the importance of doing psoas-focused movement practices for relaxation and when working with trauma, and how to work with diaphragmatic breathing and the chakras in yoga practices that target the psoas.

Then, to deepen your understanding of what Jo Ann calls "the most interesting muscle in the human body," you'll do two practices: "Somatics and Satya" and "Exploring the Psoas/Diaphragm Connection With the Chakras." Throughout the classes, Jo Ann draws your attention to the anatomy of the psoas and the benefits of the poses you're doing so you can make connections between your physical, emotional, and energetic experience.

This class features a fun and easy way to make quilted bowls in a variety of shapes and sizes using all your favorite fabrics and easy machine quilting. You'll want to make tons for yourself and even more to give away as gifts. This is a fun project for any skill level!

Using heavy stabilizer, some batting and fabric scraps, you can create your own one-of-a-kind round, square or oval vessel.

Instructor Heather Thomas will review how to layer the base of the bowl and the process of measuring and cutting the wedges that will be used to form the bowl. Once that is complete, she will go over a variety of ways to add decorative fabric layers.

You can quilt the fabric bowl with simple or complex designs. Heather will show how to manipulate the bowl under the foot of your machine for the best quilting results.

Finally she will demonstrate how to embellish your bowl with decorative edges, from couched fibers to hand beading.

When you take photos of your pets, you often get a red eye effect; with animals, however, you may get blue, green or yellow eyes.

You can adjust the pupil area and brightness, and preview the results real-time. The program keeps structure of the pupil. After you install Pet Eye Pilot, you can see the demo. Run it from the Demonstration menu.

Pet Eye Pilot is also capable to fix red eyes in photos of people. It is identical to Red Eye Pilot.

Perspective distortions often appear in the architectural building photography and urban landscape photography. Such distortions arise from taking an urban landscape using a wide-angle lens and also may be caused by inappropriate aspect angle.

Perspective Pilot is specially designed software for perspective correction of a photo.

Two main tools will help you to correct perspective:

Perspective correction using reference lines

1. Draw a line along a horizontal or vertical object in the center of the photo. The program will rotate the image accordingly.
2. Draw a line along a horizontal or vertical object closer to the edge of the photo. The program will perform the Perspective transformation.
3. If you draw the lines while holding the Ctrl key, the program will determine the position of the line according to the most contrasting border of the object.

Four-points perspective correction
1. Point the four corners of the object that should be rectangular.
2. Click the Apply button to complete correction.
